ModelBudgetCalc is an independent calculator focused on one budgeting question: what does the same hosted workload cost under different monthly plans? The first version covers Ollama's current credit plans. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ollama or the model providers named in the rate table.
The tool keeps consumption value, subscription fee, included usage and overage separate. It shows assumptions and official sources beside the result. It does not claim to identify the best model, predict every invoice or guarantee a saving.
What you will not find here
No invented customer results, model-quality rankings or unsupported “cheapest AI” promise. Sample inputs are synthetic. A model selector does not create dozens of near-identical articles. The guides explain the decisions that make a budget more useful: plan boundaries, credit resets, cache accounting and peak usage.
