Privacy: keep private prompts out of your budget
How ModelBudgetCalc handles numeric scenarios, browser-only calculations, share fragments and infrastructure requests.
The calculator is designed for numeric planning inputs, not prompt text, API keys or account credentials. Calculations run in your browser. The calculator application does not submit those inputs to an inference service or save them in an application database.
Sharing scenarios
Scenario sharing uses the URL fragment, the part after the hash symbol. Browsers do not normally send that fragment in the HTTP request to the hosting server. However, anyone who receives the full shared URL can read its scenario, and your browser may retain it in history. A browser extension with relevant access may also see page content. Do not put secrets into a shared link or assume that a fragment makes it private to you.
Hosting and external links
Serving a website involves network requests. Hosting and network services may process technical information such as an IP address, requested path, browser information and request time. Browser-only calculation does not mean that visiting a website is anonymous. This page does not promise an infrastructure retention period that has not been verified.
Official-source links lead to other websites with their own policies. This version does not embed third-party videos or load affiliate purchase widgets. Any later analytics or advertising integration requires this disclosure to be reviewed before that integration is activated; the current calculator does not need advertising or analytics to function.
